Lost In The Trees

Lost in the Trees, this North Carolina ensemble has been described as "Orchestral Folk Music" because it features arrangements which harness both the dramatic power of classical music and the more intimate sounds of the singer-songwriter tradition. Strings and brass mesh effortlessly with accordion,bells, musical saw, banjo, and mandolin. Releasing their second recording on ANTI-Records (Tom Waits, Neko Case, Kate Bush), the group has played on NPR's Tiny Desk Concert Series.
