Plant Propagation

For those of you who would like to learn more about propagating plant material and are interested in a more hands on experience, we are offering plant propagation every Thursday from 10 2, weather permitting. This is also a way for HBGF to get plant material ready for our spring plant sale on May 5 and 12, 2012. We have already received many plants that are ready to be divided, potted up and/or cuttings made so join the fun with Terry and Denise. Classes are held at the Humboldt Botanical Gardens in the big greenhouse. We are located at the north entrance to College of the Redwoods on Tompkins Hill Road, Eureka. Please park in the upper lot and walk to the main gate and up the road to the greenhouse. If you have a disability or need assistance please tell the person at the gate and you can either bring your car in and park by the greenhouse or we have an electric cart than can take you to where you need to be.
